Everyone makes a big deal about microphones. Quality matters, but it matters less than what you put into it. That said: our main recording mics are Universal Audio Sphere modeling microphones, with Shure SM57s for handheld.

Logic Pro, Pro Tools, and Ableton Live

We’re set up for 6 musicians and 6 vocalists. The room includes two Roland RD-88 keyboards, three direct boxes for guitars and bass, and a Roland TD-27 drum kit.

Yes. You send me a rough mix, I lay down tracks at the studio, and I send the stems back for your approval. Then you add your own performances — recorded in your environment — and send those stems back to me to incorporate into the full mix. There are many ways to do this; that’s a good starting point.
